My loving Son walks to his death for you.
His will is that you be made holy.
See how he stoops down beneath
the weight of the cross that carries your sins.
the weight of the cross that carries your sins.
Your sins that have blinded you from the truth he speaks.
Look into his eyes and see his love he has for you.
It is withlove that he suffers as your sins nail him to the cross.
Keep your eyes fixed on him and hear him speak,
"Father forgive them." Words of forgiveness,
not vengeance or judgment.
Keep your eyes fixed on him and hear him speak,
"Father forgive them." Words of forgiveness,
not vengeance or judgment.
